BitMix Color
BitMix Color is a coloured asphalt concrete manufactured on site by hot-working, and consists of aggregates and transparent synthetic ligand composed of a bi-component resin, similar to bitumen. This ligand is used in the production of coloured asphalt and completely replaces bitumen, with the same average penetration as a bitumen of penetration grade 35/50.
Composition
The mixture is composed of about 93% aggregates, 6% ligand - synthetic bi-component resin - and 1% pigment depending on the desired colour. The application of the bi-component resin is very simple. It is a mixture of two substances: Resin LT - a granular solid component (nearly 75%) - and Iterlene LT - a liquid catalyst (nearly 25%). These components are duly prepared for addition to the on-site mixing unit.

Application This asphalt is ideal for coloured paving as it is available in any colour with great end results, and fits perfectly into the surrounding environment - pedestrian zones, urban parks, private roads, walkways, etc.
