New section of the Tâmega Route improves accessibility and drives regional development

ACA is building a new section of the Tâmega Route, a key infrastructure for mobility in the Celorico de Basto region.

Part of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), the project covers 3.3 km and includes the construction of several structures, such as roundabouts, viaducts, and a bridge over the Veade River.

The project aims to improve local accessibility, enhance road safety, and substantially reduce travel times. In addition to its direct impact on mobility, the new road is expected to play a key role in boosting the local economy and generating new job opportunities.

Through this intervention, ACA is contributing to regional development and to a more connected, sustainable future.
